When one is open, learning is free and knowledge everywhere
MacJannet 1st Prize 2014
In the Fall of 2013, I chaired the UofM Selection Committee which nominated the Rec and Read Mentorship Program – a community engagement program of the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management. The program involved collaboration between UofM faculty researchers and students with schools and associations from the community.
Awarded 1st Prize, it bested 59 nominations from 50 universities in 21 countries.
Hi! My name is Helen Balderama. After more than 10 years working on education projects in Asia and Europe, I moved to Canada in 2012, partly to reunite with family but also to get to know the international education field in North America. I am now based in Toronto, Ontario and I continue with my passion – International Education. On the side, I go on food adventures, capture random, everyday encounters and share information on Flipboard.
